New Products at TwoPeas!

Do you PL??? I am obsessed with Project Life and I don't even participate! I got the bug too late in the year to start. I'm not sure I could ever really keep up with a weekly project like this but I admire the talented ladies out there that do. I have a ton of people who PL on my blog list and I love looking at their pages. My plan is to start using more of the "Project Life" idea in my scrapbooks. I think it will really help for those events that don't really need an entire page but still need to be included in the story. I am also planning a PL style of documenting my son's Senior year that starts on Monday! I want to remember and document as much as I can though his last year of school. I may not do a spread each and every week, but will use the divided pages to add as much as I think is relevant. I bought almost every divider Becky has out and can't wait to start using them.

I am super energized to start his album and a few more projects I have been planning. Now that the kids will be back in school, I should have more time to create and share more on the blog. I scrapbooked some new cards and pages this past weekend for Jillibean that will be revealed later this month. I have been busy creating artwork for my new website to launch sometime in the next month. And I have a couple of great surprises coming this fall. Lots to be excited about as the season changes.

Forgot to mention that I also released 3 new products at TwoPeas last week! Hope you like!

A few cool things....

Popping in with a few quick shares....I am knee deep in CHA design work. Lots of concepts and ideas are taking shape. I spent over 13 hours drawing in Illustrator yesterday!
First cool thing - my first product review went live at The Scrap Review today! Stop by to see what I created with some really cool products from Punky Sprouts!

Second cool thing - remember my post about finally releasing some kits at TwoPeas? Well today is the day lol! Spot on Life Card Set#1 is available today! While I am not participating in PL this year, I am a huge fan of the idea and style. I already use many photo sleeve type products in my albums. The busier I get, the more I rely on these type of quick memory keeping projects. The card set is includes PDF for printing and PNG for digital projects. They can also be used on cards, traditional pages, mini albums and more! Let me know what you think...they are so fun to create! You will definitely be seeing more like this!

Journaling spots (black)
(there is a brown version too!)

50K Fans Borders
These borders I created for Creating Keepsakes 50K Facebook Fans may be useful too!?! Lots of other great Creating Keepsakes freebies here as well!

Tips from Me:
1. If you are using cream based papers, try printing these on cream cardstock to match your papers.
2. If the shapes are too big to fit your needs, adjust the scale in your printer dialog box to make them smaller.
3. Test on plain paper in "use black ink only", fast draft setting to save ink and good paper until you get the size you want.

I have some really cool free printables coming up in a few new issues of CK so stay tuned!

Some of my TwoPeas kits could be used for Project Life as well.

My goal is to start adding new content to my digital shop at TwoPeas. I always have great plans but somehow get too busy with my regular workload. No complaints - I have the best clients in the world. i just always have so many great ideas, not enough time to execute. Anybody want to be my intern lol?

I will always offer digital diecuts but want to start adding printable and punchable projects as well. What would you like to see me offer? Leave me a comment below to Win 3 digital kits of your choice from my TwoPeas shop! Random winner will be chosen and posted next Monday May 7th!

new at TwoPeas!

Flowers are all the rage these days! Don't you just love those amazing roses that are popping up on projects everywhere? Wouldn't you love to make some quick and easy ones out of all those beautiful papers you have laying around? I just made it pretty easy for all of us with this...

The Spiral Rose is a single digital diecut which means it is only .99! How can you beat that!

Assembling the diecut is easy:
1. Remove spiral shape from cutting mat.
2. Begin twisting the spiral from the outside point, forming the blossom as you turn.
3. Once you get to the middle, add adhesive to the "center" spot and press the petals to the bottom.

Ideas:
1. Add glimmer mist or stickles to the petals
2. Scrunch paper before assembly to add a shabby look
3. Glue floral stamens to the center for a fancier look.

Cricut Users please note that this file will not work with SCAL 1 or 2, only Make the Cut will work with this file. SCAL does not support open paths and a spiral diecut is a open path.

Diecut will work with all other cutters!

not much to say today...

so I'll share some pages instead! I made both of these for the Lily Bee Design Team tryout. I love the first layout (a scraplift of myself!).  The navy mixed with the yellow was such a fun color combo. I misted the lace doily with sapphire and tattered leather glimmer mist. The second layout is sorta cute, not one of my favorites. Sadly, I didn't make the team. Boo. Not the first time and certainly not the last time I won't make a team I want. It's really all just fun and I try not to let stuff like that get me down. Like my friend Jen says, "It's just paper and glue people!"

If you have been over to TwoPeas this week, you will see that I released my next two kits at the store.

Have a great day. See you back here tomorrow for Free Friday!
