I will email you to get your address!

Every month on the Jillibean blog, Jill hosts a designer challenge. They are fun to participate in and the themes make me break out of my usual box. This month's theme was to scrap yourself! Ack. I never take photos of me  - so this was definitely a challenge!
I used a lot of new Jillibean goodies on this one. Mainly from Coconut Lime and Chicken Dumpling Soup. Be sure to check out all of the other DT girls pages for this challenge as well!

Creating Keepsakes Giveaway and Blog Hop!

Have you received your latest issue of Creating Keepsakes? I stalk the mailman each month waiting for my issue! Although I can view the digital issues online, I still love having an actual magazine to take with me while I wait for the kids to finish practices, etc. (Did you know that subscribers can access the digital version for free?!)

The March/April 2012 issue is superb! Great articles, tips, sketches and of course...some amazing pages by some of my favorite scrapbookers in the industry. Did you know also know that each month there are giveways, contests, free downloads and more for each issue at the CK website? Don't miss out these great extras by checking in here!

If you don't already subscribe - what are you waiting for? You can purchase your own copy right here!

How would you like to win a copy of the March/April 2012 issue? I will give away a copy to one lucky reader! All you have to do is leave me a comment below by midnight Sunday March 25. I will randomly chose a winner and announce the results on Monday March 26.

I got a note home from school last week from the school nurse informing me that our 2nd grade, Emmitt failed two vision screenings. Sure enough, our optician confirmed that our youngest will need to wear glasses! Steve has perfect vision and I did not need them until High School...now I have all three boys wearing them. I'm convinced that the evil Xbox is ruining their vision.

Here are a few pages I made when Cooper got his specs last year. Looks like I will be making a similar page for Emmitt in the very near future!

I used My Mind's Eye Lime Twist for these. I loved the colors used in this one mixed with the gray. Some thickers, Doodlebug stickers and hand journaling to complete!
