Free Friday #22

Another quick one today! The kids are at school and I am sorta on a scrapbook vacation. Meaning while they are at school, I am finally getting to all those great summer photos.

Lace Borderlines released at TwoPeas this week. This is one of my favorite releases thus far. Remember when cutting intricate designs to always use a fresh blade and sticky mat. Keep in mind that these designs were intended to be cut 11-12" in length, scaling smaller can result in inaccurate results. If you need a smaller border, simply cut at the long size and trim off the sides to fit your project.

Today's free file....I thought this may come in handy for all the mom's who sent their kids back this week.

Have a great weekend!

back to school

Today is the first day of school! For the very first time, all three boys are in school full-time. I know it's wrong to wish them big, but i cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to having some quite time here in the house.

Stop on over to the Work In Progress Blog today. It was my turn to post some of my favorite back to school items.

Jillibean #2

As promised...the second project I made for the Jillibean CHA booth. I took apart a vintage school primer using a tutorial I found on Cathe Holden's blog. (my new favorite source for inspiration!) I created my own planner out of the new Atomic Soup papers and sprouts. Used my Bind It all to hold it together. Jill added my missing "0" at the show. Easy!

Free Friday #21 and a new WIP

Trust me when I say this picture doesn't do it enough justice. I just received my September Work In Progress Kit. It is so utterly cool. The mix of red, green and yellow is incredible. I cannot wait to play! Hopefully this weekend.

Now for the freebie! I'm on a roll! Haven't missed a Friday in a lonnnnnnggg time. I have been playing with lace borders this week and came up with some really cool designs for a new TwoPeas Kit. Here is one of the more simple ones that didn't make the kit. I thought it was still simple and pretty and wanted to share it with you today.

Simple Scallop Border

Enjoy and have a great weekend!

New Kit!

I have a new release for sale at TwoPeas - Lace Circles!

Lace doilies are all the rage in the crafting world. These 4 designs will make great accents for cards, home decor or pages. They can also be used for digital scrapbooking as well. Please note that the circles were drawn at 2.5" diameter. Scaling them smaller can result in inaccurate results. Scaling larger is fine. :)

Please send me a link to your project if you use them! I love to see what my blog readers create!

Jillibean #1

Today I am finally going to share a project I made for the Jillibean CHA booth...

This little album uses the new Pasta Fagioli line. This paper is perfect for projects about photos, memories and documentation. The entire mini albumwas made with one package of the new Pasta Fagioli sprouts, coordinating papers, cardstock and scallop punches. Easy and fun!

I have another one to share too!

Free Friday #20 and new Dienamics

First I wanted to be sure to share the new Dienamics I designed for Kim at My Favorite Things Stamps. If you enjoy traditional steel plate die cutting, this is the product for you. Made like Quickutz dies, these wafer thin dies pack a lot of punch. They can even punch through felt!
Die-namics Flower Trio & Leaf Trio

Die-namics Oval Chain Border

Die-namics Small Scallop Border

There are tons more designs in the works for this fall! Make sure to stop by the MFT blog to see the amazing cards created by the design team!

Today's free file is a welded word title...

The file is actual 3 separate shapes so that you can move them around, stack and scale however you please.

Recognize any of these cute little die cuts??? Many of them are from my TwoPeas Digital Diecuts! I love this page Nicole made. Could it be any brighter or clever?

Garden Girl Nicole Magorik has been conducting a year long FREE class Making the Most of Your Die Cut Machines. This month she is concentrating on using Digital Cuts from the TwoPeas shop. Nicole uses the Silhouette machine, but this class can be beneficial for all. Make sure to stop by and take the monthly lessons, visit Nicole's blog and jump in on the monthly challenge. (There are prizes to be won!)

I have been swamped with work since returning from CHA. I've been working on a 3rd card design for the eCraft. (My best and cutest - it includes layered elements!) The machines are finally arriving in stores. I am going to be receiving one soon. As soon as I do, I will be sharing projects and tips.

Today's Free Friday is a simple Flower Silhouette. I think this would look great on cards or pages.

The kids are back to school in less than three weeks. I have so many projects I want to tackle, so many new ideas for pages and projects. My mind is overflowing with ideas...I just need the time to tackle them! I hate to see summer leave but I cannot wait for all the time to create! Anyone else itching for the school year schedule to begin?
