December Work in Progress

I have been a part of the Work in Progress Team since 2008. Being a part of the team and a friend of Trish Turay for the past 2 plus years has been an extreme honor. It is with a heavy heart that I am stepping down from the team. December will be my last official month with the team.

Don't be surprised though if you see me pop in occasionally as a Guest Designer or blogger. Trish and I are still the best of friends and I will always be a fan of her and her company.

Work In Progress October

Here are my pages and projects...

 I made this quick little project for my mother's kitchen frig. She always has bits and pieces of photos, ad, reminders hanging on her refrigerator. This little hanging "frame" can now hold all of those items in a more stylish fashion. To make it, simply take a 12x12  - 4x6 photo sleeve page and add eyelets to the hole openings. Fill the photo areas with your favorite papers and embellishments. She can change out the 4x6 month rectangle each month. I left mine blank for her to add in birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Easy and cute!

I scrapbooked! Yes. I finally got back down in my space and made some pages. Wo-hoo! Life is good.

Secret journaling on the tag. Used some Stampin Up alpha stamps for the title. I'm really in the mood to stamp these days. Weird.

Free Friday #21 and a new WIP

Trust me when I say this picture doesn't do it enough justice. I just received my September Work In Progress Kit. It is so utterly cool. The mix of red, green and yellow is incredible. I cannot wait to play! Hopefully this weekend.

Now for the freebie! I'm on a roll! Haven't missed a Friday in a lonnnnnnggg time. I have been playing with lace borders this week and came up with some really cool designs for a new TwoPeas Kit. Here is one of the more simple ones that didn't make the kit. I thought it was still simple and pretty and wanted to share it with you today.

Work In Progress August

I just realized tonight that I never shared my August Work In Progress Pages. Opps. How many more days until the kids go back to school? If you haven't checked out the kit yet...make sure to get one before they are gone.

Work In Progress July

I can't tell you how much I loved this month's kit! I just wish I would have had more time to play! The Echo Park papers were so perfect for my summer photos. If you want to know the Bazzill cardstock matches for this line, check here.

July WIP Kit

Wow. I got my July kit from Trish late last week. New papers from Echo Park. I have been one scrap happy girl playing with this beauty. Get on over there and get one for yourself before they are all gone. :)

Work In Progress May

I am taking the month of June off from Work In Progress so you won't see any pages from me until the July kit. I need some time to get caught up with projects and life. Plus there is that little trip to Disney coming up in 2 weeks!

Sketches on Tuesday #4

will not happen today. My kiddos are on Spring Break, it was warm Cleveland and I simply didn't get it done. I didn't cook dinner last night either. I'm feeling very slacker. I promise I will post one next Tuesday. All I have to offer today is this pretty little sneak peak for the May kit at Work In Progress.

Work In Progress April

Here's the fun I had using this month's Work In Progress Kit. Thanks for stopping by!

I absolutely destroyed the green Jillibean letters. by accident...so I ended up ripping off the tops and spray painting them black.

I should have photographed this one instead of scanning. The pinwheels are really dimensional the scan got wonky. This layout looks WAY better in person. My favorite of the four.

How often do you get to do a layout of your 6 year old in a gas mask? Some things must be scrapped whether they are pretty or not.

I'm not posting my fourth layout because I don't really like it. I kinda figure it's my blog, my party. I can lie about my age here too if I want. :)

Work In Progress April

Can you believe I just wrote April in the title?!? This year is going by so amazingly fast. I really need it to slow down just a little so I can appreciate how awesome it truly has been thus far. Lots of fun stuff going on here at the Lamb household. Max has started his first year of High School baseball. He has been waiting and waiting for this to finally arrive.I cannot wait to see his dedication, training and tremendous effort pay off this first season. When we start talking baseball, that means Spring is finally peaking around the corner.

I have been busy making layouts with the new Work In Progress Kit. So much green and so Spring! I got a mix of all three kits, my favorite part is the little mix of purple thrown in for fun.I can't wait to share my layouts with you on the 1st.

See. I told you I still make things. Here are my four pages for Work In Progress this month. Although the paper and chipboard was Cosmo Cricket "Material Girl" themed, I worked it right into my usual boy pages. This is probably my #1 kit Trish has put together in the past three years. Loved working with all of it. If you haven't ordered one yet - go here before they are gone!

I used Glimmer Mist on the first three pages to alter the color of the chipboards and paper doilies. Snuggle and School Friends use some of new SVG border files that will be available at TwoPeas on Tuesday!
