Sports pages to share!

I've been back to scrapping again. Finally finding time to dig into the piles of photos! These three all use Bella Blvd's. Making the Team papers and stickers. Love, love love this collection. I'm such a fan of clean graphic papers. Stephanie's prints and bold colors are always in my go to stack of papers!

Game Day Chili and New Alphabeans

Game Day is probably going to be my "go-to" product for the next year! I have three active boys and 80% of my scrapbook pages are about their sports teams! When Jill decided to do a sports themed line I was so excited and ready to start! I love that it is on kraft - very unique! I have the samples here at my studio and have already made 3 cards, a mini and 2 pages. I can't share until after the show :( Colors always tend to be more muted on kraft, but our printer did a fabulous job and got the color to pop out as much as possible. I am really, really happy with how they turned out.

I also have a preview below of the new Mini Alphabeans and all of the new Soup Labels. The new colors (NAVY!!!) are awesome and I love the cute sayings on the Soup Labels.

CK Winner! (er...a little late) and more CHA!

I apologize for not posting the winner sooner. As soon as the mad rush for CHA is over, I step away from the computer and take a breather. I've spent the past two days doing not much of anything. And it feels pretty good. :)

I entered all 14 entries in the number generator and came up with:

Another CHA sneek for you! I have my sample papers here and they are to die for. Coconut Lime is spring, preppy and fun. So many uses for this line....

CHA Sneak Peek #2

I have to admit, IF I had to pick a favorite collection from the new Jillibean releases (which would be hard!), Neopolitan Bean Bisque would be my favorite. What's not to love about Rotary phones, chevrons and bold colors? I was so excited when Jill pronounced her love for Navy and decided to include it in two collections this show (opps, just gave a clue away!) Navy is the most underrated color out there. Crafting needs more navy in my opinion. Hope you love this one as much as I do!

CHA Sneak Peek 1

I'm already behind on CHA Peeks! Jill and I worked like CRAZY in December getting our new lines ready. Jill sets the idea of a collection and sends me ideas, simple sketches, photos, etc. I take her idea and literally run with it. She allows me to illustrate and further develop the concept. My favorite part of our process is coming up with the cute words and icons for the stickers and diecuts. Once I have the preliminary designs set, she and I go back and forth tweaking scale, colors, etc until she is satisfied we are ready for print.

The first collection is Easter themed but could be used for anything! I am so not a pastel person (neither is Jill!) so when we first started this collection, we were both very unsettled on the look. As we progressed, we both came to love the collection in it's entirety. My favorite part of Southern Chicken Dumpling is the woodgrain and the Chicken Coops. I had a ball drawing up these little houses and imagining the mama chicks planting flowers in their window boxes. Hope you love this one too!

Vintage Street Market

Guess who got a little crafty this week!

Last winter when I went to my first Winter CHA in Los Angeles I had the pleasure of meeting Michelle Jackson at the Vintage Street Market booth. I fell in love with their ecelctic kits and vintage goods. After year of planning, I had the pleasure of being their Guest Artist this month. Head on over to their blog to see more of the projects I created with Vintage Street Market kits. Check out their online store as well for some very unique one of kind finds as well. Be sure to get some of their Tinted Tape while you are there. It's one of my favorite finds of this year!

2012

A new year, a new start. I love this time of year. The holiday decorations are put away and life slows down a bit around the house. (In comparison to the usual chaos!) I actually have time to think about where we are headed and what my goals for the year are.

Here are a few that I have set for myself and the family:
1. Become more efficient with my workload. I love what I do but tend to take on too many "extra" side projects that take away from the family.
2. Scrapbook and create more things from hand. I love drawing and designing on my computer every day but miss creating pages. More time for myself to do this.
3. Finish my 2 Disney albums from 2010 and 2011!!!
4. Help Max start and narrow down his college choices. It's coming up fast.
5. Exercise and take better care of myself. I gain a little each year and it's showing.
6. Spend more alone time with my husband. The kids and work always come first. He's always third.
7. Have more patience with the kids.
8. Go on more trips, get out and have more fun. Life is too short to put if off for another day.
9. Appreciate my parents more. I can't begin to tell you how much they do for us.
10. Relax - I stress way too much.

Now if I can just remember to do these things!

CHA is almost upon us. All of the new Jillibean goodness is in production. Jill and I are breathing a sigh of relief as we wait for production samples to arrive. The first of many sneak peeks will begin Friday on the Jillibean blog. I'm over the top excited about the new lines and cannot wait to share!

Here are a few more layouts from 2011 to share!
