Jillibean eye candy

I wanted to share the rest of the new Jillibean Products I helped create before I take off for CHA. When everything arrived on my doorstep this week, I couldn't help but scream! Take my word for it, your monitor does not do any of these products justice. The colors are simply amazing in real life. If you are at CHA, please stop by the Jillibean Booth #2866 and check them out! Kimber and Jill will be there all weekend and I will be around as well.

Be sure to check back this weekend, I hope to post photos from the show from all the booths I visit! Hold on to your hats - lots of images to come! PS - the best is last...Kraft Minis!!!

the OTHER giveaway!

I was supposed to give this away last week but left for my vacation before I could post this one...
I do not consider myself a digital scrapbooker but I certainly fall into the area of "hybrid" scrapbooker. I am sure many of fall into the category without even realizing it! I use my computer to create sketches, enhance and edit my photos, typeset journaling blocks, and even use or create digital die cut shapes. With the ease and use of technology, it's actually quite hard not to become a digital scrapbooker in some capacity!

The Best of Digital Scrapbooking can help you get started with Digital Scrapbooking. The book guides you through the basics of getting started, how to organize your photos and files, incorporate keepsakes and much, much more. Here are a few peeks from the issue and you can see even more here.

Want to win a copy of this book to get started? Simply leave me a comment below! You have until Midnight Sunday night January 23 to be entered. I will pick a winner on Monday January 23rd.

Can't wait that long to get started? Use this coupon code: DS25DT (free shipping on orders of $25 or more)

Two NEW Book Giveaways!

I am back from vacation and have lots to share this week! I thought starting off with a couple of giveaways would be a good place to start.
I just received my copy of the book...first glance looks amazing! I can't wait to curl up on the couch with this book and make some plans for my scrap space. January is always my month to reorganize my space and photos and I know this book will help me get started. Here are a few photos from the book and you can see more of the book right here.

Make sure to stop by the CK blog this week. They will be adding many more organization ideas there as well. Want a copy of your own? I will be giving away one copy to one lucky blog reader. Simply leave me a comment below and tell me why you need this book! You have until Sunday January 23 at midnight. I will post the winner on Monday January 24th.

Can't wait that long to get your hands on the book? You can use this coupon code: DS25DT (good for free shipping on orders of $25 or more, expires 2/11/11) to order the book from here!

check this out...

Got a minute? Check out my Guest Designer project on the Bella Blvd. Blog today! I am a huge fan of Bella and was thrilled when Stephanie asked if I would like to create a project for the blog. Bella's papers were already some of my favorites so pulling together a mini album was a breeze.

Today I finished the last piece of the Jillibean Winter 2011 release. Just in the nick of time...we leave at 9am tomorrow morning for vacation. Hello Harry, here we come.

The best part of the trip? The kids think we are going to Universal for three days and then to Sea World for a day. What they don't realize is that we are packing up our things and moving to the Nick Hotel for another three nights and going back to Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. They are going to flip! Thank heavens for generous Grandmas who spoil their grandchildren.

Most people are hesitant to reveal online that they are going away and leaving their house unprotected. Not a problem here...we have Frank on duty. All I'm saying is robbers...beware.

Happy New Year!

I had to share this photo...Cooper insisted that he needed to wear a tux for New Year's. I thought he wanted to be fancy, instead he was just fulfilling his fantasy of becoming Bond, James Bond.

The past two weeks have been a whirlwind of parties, activities and FOOD. Every person in the house received gel memory foam mattress pad and fleece sheets. No one has gotten out of bed before 9am this entire holiday. Even the Rooster (Cooper!). Well except for Christmas morning when he work us all at 7:03 to open gifts. I am actually happy break is over tomorrow and we will finally be back on a regular schedule.

I really hope to update and share here more regularly here in 2011. Unfortunately I have come to realize that offering a free cutting file every Friday simply isn't feasible with all the work I have on my plate. While I can't promise to offer them every Friday as before I will periodically surprise my blog readers with files as my time allows.

I am proud to announce that I (with Jill's vision) had the pleasure of designing 3 of the 4 new lines being released at CHA Winter. I have also helped with all of their new embellishments, stickers and other new products to be announced! You can see a sneak peek of them here! I cannot wait to share more with you as we get closer to CHA.

2010 was incredible year of growth for me as a designer. 2011 is already full of even more potential and I cannot wait to get started. Thanks to everyone who stops by and reads this blog and allows me to share my interests and ideas. I hope that you find inspiration here.
