I am WAY too busy with life and projects once again. There really should be a universal law that soccer season and baseball should never, ever overlap. Overlaps cause mothers' of three to go gray at a much earlier than expected age.
I can however share a page a made a few months ago trying a new technique. I had been seeing microbeads popping up here and there in galleries. Everytime I perused the Martha section at Michael's, the little colorful containers were calling out to me. I finally caved, used my coupon and bought a
multipack. Eye candy all the way.
I read a
quick tutorial by Katy Watson (wonderful
blog by the way if you love projects and banners!) Microbeads are as easy as glitter but much cooler and dimensional. Here is what I made... I covered the chipboard with paint (or mist) first and then glossy accents and microbeads. The effect up close in person is stunning. I really need to bring the beads out again for some fun spring and summer pages.
