Today

Shelly did this...now it's my turn.

Outside my window...it is raining lightly. Now I don't have to water.
I am thinking...this summer went too fast. Only three weeks to school.
I am thankful for...my sweet life. It's been a very fun summer.
From the kitchen...cinnamon coffee with vanilla creamer.
I am wearing...Max's old shorts and a comfy T.
I am creating...a new mini album.
I am going...to run today for the first time.
I am reading...Knit Two
I am hoping...to lose some weight. The clothes just aren't fitting anymore.
I am listening to...Emmitt munch Luck Charms.
Around the house...everything needs to be cleaned.
One of my favorite things...is having the week off from work.
A few plans for the rest of the week...photography class and school shopping.
A picture to share...the new punch I bought at Michaels. It's a Martha Stewart.

CHA Favorites

Now that the Summer CHA show has begun I thought I would share a few of my favorite new releases. Some of them are already shipping! As always, I can't wait to get some new scrap goodies.

Sassafras - love the little felt buddies. The Monstrosity line is probably my favorite line being debuted.

WeRMemoryKeepers Geo Hectic and surprisingly their holiday line Merry and Bright.
I usually only like KI or American Crafts christmas paper. This year it will be nice to try something new.

Maya Road new little Kraft tags and Sheers. Great and versatile for so many projects.

Ki Memories - Love the new Toybox Collection. The Halloween and Christmas are as cute as always.

Bella Blvd. - Super Stud. How could I resist?

Cosmo Cricket - I am always a fan of this company. Once again they have done it with Boyfriend.

American Crafts - Super Excited about Junior. Can't wait to see the papers that go with it.

Pebbles, Inc - Making a great comeback this year. Love this Lil Buddy.

Holiday Weekend

The past four days were a whirlwind of activity. Cookouts, fireworks and carnivals. Steve turned 41 on July 3rd and Max turned 14 on July 2nd. Max's baseball team played in the Bay Baseball Tournament for the 6th year in a row. Thursday and Friday's games were both rained out. Saturday they were able to get in and WIN 2 games. They advanced to the semi final on Sunday morning and won again. Max had never even won a single tournament game and now was headed for the championship game at 3:00. They faced the Middleburg Mudcats the returning champions with an undefeated regular season record. This was the team that stomped them 15-2 last month. The boys played their hearts out but despite their efforts lost 5-4. One run made the difference. Max was crushed despite knowing how well they played. It is so hard to see a child go through it.

Here are some happy layouts I made using the new Making Memories Giggle Kids paper available only at Archiver's. I made all four pages from 4 pieces of pattern paper, one pack of embellishments and some cardstock. Pretty thrifty I think!
