It was in-cred-i-ble. Huge. And fun. I made so many new friends and met some of my scrapbook idols. I took about 500 photos...don't worry, I won't post all of them. This weekend is family time first though.
I have extended the giveaway until Sunday night at midnight, so make sure to leave a comment on this post to win. I just cleaned my scrap room. The goodie box is going to be a good one.
For those who love free cutting files, make sure to stop by TwoPeas and download my Wave Border freebie. I'll be back Monday with CHA photos.

Head on over to the Work in Progress blog today. I have some of my favorite sneak peeks from Summer CHA. Right now, I am in love with everything Jillibean, American Crafts City Park and Crate's Restoration paper. I'll have photos of the show next week. We'll talk.

Surprise Freebie! (and a giveaway below!)
I'm still at CHA but thought you might like a bonus freebie while I away!
Check out the Club CK blog to download the Starburst Cutting file I designed to create my Summer Fun layout!
Do you like the layout? I had to create an extra premisted page, template and the little pattern paper pieces for the magazine article. Which means, I now have an extra layout here at my house waiting for photos and a title. I would like to give the page kit and and a box of scrapbooking goodies to one lucky blog reader. Leave a comment below. I will pick a random winner Friday when I return from the show!

Free Friday #18
I am off the Craft and Hobby Show in Chicago all next week so things will be quiet on the blog. (or not!, you may want to stop by Monday!) This is my first opportunity to attend the show. To say that I am excited is putting it lightly! I cannot wait to see all of the new products and trends in the industry. It will also be my first opportunity to see the eCraft operate and have the chance to view my new cartridges! I am hoping to meet many new people and expand my opportunities as a graphic designer in the craft industry. (And I just want to drool over the new products!) I will post show photos as soon as I get back.
As promised...a new free cutting file. I had to whip up some cards at work and came up with this little cutie...
Have a great weekend! See you when I get back.

new at TwoPeas!
Flowers are all the rage these days! Don't you just love those amazing roses that are popping up on projects everywhere? Wouldn't you love to make some quick and easy ones out of all those beautiful papers you have laying around? I just made it pretty easy for all of us with this...
The Spiral Rose is a single digital diecut which means it is only .99! How can you beat that!
Assembling the diecut is easy:
1. Remove spiral shape from cutting mat.
2. Begin twisting the spiral from the outside point, forming the blossom as you turn.
3. Once you get to the middle, add adhesive to the "center" spot and press the petals to the bottom.
Ideas:
1. Add glimmer mist or stickles to the petals
2. Scrunch paper before assembly to add a shabby look
3. Glue floral stamens to the center for a fancier look.
Cricut Users please note that this file will not work with SCAL 1 or 2, only Make the Cut will work with this file. SCAL does not support open paths and a spiral diecut is a open path.
Diecut will work with all other cutters!

No Free Friday
Sorry friends. I don't mean to be a whiner...but I am super busy with FUN freelance projects and simply ran out of time to make a freebie this week. Instead I will share a secret...my favorite place to download free fonts.
I don't know how I found this site, but it has a ton of really good free fonts. I'm not even sure what country this site originates from. All I can say, I haven't gotten a virus from the files there after visiting for over a year now. Believe me, my husband the IT guy keeps this ship locked down pretty tight. Now you know one of my secrets. :) Have a great weekend.

Another older layout to share
Ready to Ride was also in the July/August 2010 Scrapbooks Etc. How did I make that cool title and nifty spinner? With my Cricut of course! At the time, I used SCAL but have since converted all my cutting to Make the Cut. Would you like to have a spinner too? It is available in my latest TwoPeas release Game Night!
The package includes 9 die cut pieces and page titles. Wouldn't this be great for documenting your family's favorite board games and pastimes?

Free Friday #17
Do you subscribe to Scrapbooks Etc? Today's free cutting file is featured on page 106 of the August 2010 issue. I thought maybe a few other proud mommies would like this nifty little file for their pages too.
Have a great weekend! Stay cool.

New Die-namics
Sorry it's been so quiet around here...Steve's home on staycation and we have been taking it easy, enjoying the holidays and birthdays with the kids. I haven't been scrapbooking but have been taking tons of great photos that will eventually be put to good use.

Stop on over to the My Favorite Things Blog today! Kim has videos, samples and previews of the July Dienamics sets. I designed each and every die including the Frame and Stamp Set! I love how they turned out. Kim's designers make the most amazing projects with the dies...be sure to check back to see more!
