PHOTOS LIKE THIS!
OMG! It's so bad, it's funny. I spit pop when I saw this download off my camera.
Thank you family. You make me laugh.
No Sketch Today
I am WAY too busy with life and projects once again. There really should be a universal law that soccer season and baseball should never, ever overlap. Overlaps cause mothers' of three to go gray at a much earlier than expected age.
I can however share a page a made a few months ago trying a new technique. I had been seeing microbeads popping up here and there in galleries. Everytime I perused the Martha section at Michael's, the little colorful containers were calling out to me. I finally caved, used my coupon and bought a multipack. Eye candy all the way.
I read a quick tutorial by Katy Watson (wonderful blog by the way if you love projects and banners!) Microbeads are as easy as glitter but much cooler and dimensional. Here is what I made... I covered the chipboard with paint (or mist) first and then glossy accents and microbeads. The effect up close in person is stunning. I really need to bring the beads out again for some fun spring and summer pages.
Back later this week. Hopefully with some more projects to share.

Joining the Soup!
I completely forgot that yesterday was the official announcement of the Jillibean In House Team! Check our welcome post here. Jill already has me working on a mini album project for an upcoming class. You should see all the goodies that came in the mail for me this week! I am so excited to be joining such an amazing team of people!

Free Friday #11
Friday is here again. Two new sets were released at TwoPeas this week...Six frames plus outlines for only $4! It is a bargain if you think of how many ways they could be used over and over again!
Here is another frame shape for you today. I used this shape for this page using the April Mosh Posh kit.
For Silhouette Users...I for the life of me cannot get RoboMaster to convert my file to GSD. It could be a problem with the DXF. If I do get it figured out, I will add it to the link list. Sorry...

Sketches on Tuesday #5
I'm back here finally today. Yesterday was a catch-up day all around and boy did I get caught up! I already have my May Work In Progress pages done. It's such a fantastic feeling know that assignments are done and the house is clean. Well sorta clean.
I had enough time to scrap a quick one for myself this weekend.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

I made the title using Howser font and Make the Cut. It's a very easy page to put together especially if you use cropped 4x6 photos like I did here.
I even made a sketch to match!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

This is why I love diecutting + Free Friday #10
Who cares if they don't make Ghostbusters paper? With my diecutter I can make anything I need! I made this double pager about the boys and their really cool G.busters costumes for this past Halloween. The yellow hazzard lines and the Ghostbusters logo were cut on my Cricut. The little symbols on the top were printed off of my inkjet and matted with a circle punch.
New items were added to my shop at TwoPeas this week. If you love frame shapes, check out Set#2.
This week's freebie file is a Flower Frame. Have fun creating!
Please remember...These files may not be uploaded to a group, forum or website for sale or redistribution, or shared among individuals. They are expressly for the personal use of each person that downloads them from this blog.
Keep it nice so I can keep being nice to you! :)
Have a great weekend!
ETA... Connie asked how to save and use GSD files for her Silhouette.
1. Create a new folder on your PC called GSD downloads or something similar. Download my GSD file to that folder.
2. Launch your Silhouette software. Under FILE find the "Open..." Simply move through your PC folders until you find where you downloaded the GSD file. Once you see the file click on it to open.

Mosh Posh April Kit and Sketches on Tuesday
The April gallery is up at the Mosh Posh site. There are kits left so don't wait! Here is what I contributed.
I love how simple this one is. And that my hubbie was totally game to the photo booth thing. We had the 14 year old with us and he was MORTIFIED that we went in together. "What if someone sees you?" He must of thought we were gonna make out or something in there. I love how easily embarrassed they are.
Speaking of 14 year olds...
I used my edge distresser on this one. It was fun. The Sassafras blue letter stickers and the Cosmo chipboard letters were so fun to work with this month.
Emmitt. I want to squeeze him every day.
And here is the sketch I promised that goes with the above layout "first lost tooth".

Monday Monday.
What a great weekend. I actually got to scrap Saturday night with Shelly and Becci on Sunday. When does that ever happen unless I go away for the weekend?
Today was my turn to post at the Work in Progress and the Mosh Posh Blog. head on over to both sites to see what I am feeling today.
Back on Tuesday with a sketch for real this time. :)

A special post...
because Marina asked. :)
She asked which format to use if you have a Pazzles...I believe that if you use the .DXF file, it should work fine.
Signmax Funtime & Win/pc: http://www.funtimescrapbooking.com/ This software comes with the Pazzles & Gazelle machines and its native file format is WPC. The software can also be purchased separately, for designing purposes. There are different versions of this basic type of software available that do different things. Depending which version you get it also will cut to the following machines: KNK, Wishblade, Silhouette, Craft Robo & more. It has tracing abilities for converting raster to vector for cutting. There is less of a learning curve with this program, more “home user friendly”. Opens BMP, JPG,Tiff, PCX as raster for tracing. WMF, WPC, VIP EPS, PRN, PLT, EPS, AI version 8, DXF as vector for cutting. Does not open vector PDF files. Recognizes Truetype fonts that are on your computer. Has a sharing network web site to share files with others.
Thanks for stopping by.

Free Friday #9
I'm off work today and getting caught up on some freelance projects. The kiddos are going out to lunch with Grandma, so it should be a semi-productive day. I am dying to go down in my scrap room and make some pages just for me. Hopefully I will find some time this weekend for myself.
I made this two-pager a few weeks ago. I love the color palette in the Bella Blvd. Super Stud collection. It was the perfect collection for pages about the boys' latest obsession Gogos Crazy Bones. If you haven't seen these little plastic toys, you soon will. All the kids at our elementary school are nuts about them. We have invested a small fortune into our collection.
Today's freebie is a cute little bookplate. Hope you find it useful too!

today
I am...
- happy that Max's team won their game
- working a lot at the day job
- wishing the house was clean
- glad that my parents returned from Florida
- watching "life" with Cooper
- wondering when Shelly will get the call
- feeling sad for Carla
- optimistic about my new opportunities
- behind on some deadline
- a very lucky but tired mom

Sketches on Tuesday #4
will not happen today. My kiddos are on Spring Break, it was warm Cleveland and I simply didn't get it done. I didn't cook dinner last night either. I'm feeling very slacker. I promise I will post one next Tuesday. All I have to offer today is this pretty little sneak peak for the May kit at Work In Progress.
I see houndstooth...what could be more delish than that?

Free Friday #8
Before we get to the goodies...
The April Mosh Posh kit is available! I have been playing the past two nights...lots of fun I tell you!
Today's free file is a Scrolly Border. I designed it to be 12" long. If you size it smaller than that, it could give you trouble. Be sure to use a sharp blade and go slow.
